Generation 1997
Foreword
The present volume of Generation is part of a long tradition of literary and artistic creativity in the English Department and across the University of Windsor. For well over 30 years, students in the Department of English have sought out the finest examples of their peers’ work, edited, and published it in one of Ontario’s oldest student publications. Generation ’97 reflects the spirit of cooperation and the creative energy that characterize the University of Windsor and the Department of English. The current volume brings together literary and visual arts not only from the English Department’s Creative Writing programs and the School of Visual Arts, but from many different departments and disciplines. I congratulate the Editorial Board for the range of vision and voices that they have brought together here, and thank them and the contributors for sharing with us their art and talents.
